Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, marinate the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and salt and pepper for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the garlic and stir-fry until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove beef from the skillet and keep warm.
  4. In the same skillet, add broccoli and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet. Stir in sriracha and sesame oil. Toss to combine.
  6. Add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet to thicken the sauce. Stir well for about 1-2 minutes.
  7. Serve hot over cooked rice.
