Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend this into the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough, flatten slightly, add a teaspoon of Nutella in the center, and then wrap the dough around it to contain the filling.
  7. Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet, leaving ample space for spreading.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
