Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease the inside of four ramekins and place them on a baking sheet.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until smooth.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Add eggs, egg yolks, and sugar to the chocolate mixture and whisk until well combined.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, flour, and salt until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are firm but the center remains soft and gooey.
- Let the cakes cool for one minute before gently running a knife around the edge to loosen. Invert onto plates and serve immediately.
