Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a large ovenproof pot, heat a little oil over medium-high heat. Sear the beef until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the onion and garlic, sautéing until softened and fragrant.
- Return the beef to the pot, add the red wine, and let it simmer for a couple of minutes to reduce slightly.
- Pour in the beef stock, cover the pot, and place it in the oven. Let it braise for 2.5 to 3 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Once done, serve warm with your choice of sides.
