  4. Add one ladle of broth to the rice and stir until absorbed. Continue adding broth one ladle at a time, stirring frequently and allowing liquid to absorb before adding more, until the rice is tender and creamy, about 18-20 minutes.
  5. Stir in the peas and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until the peas are tender.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped mint leaves and lemon zest. Serve hot.
