Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the warm milk and sugar, then sprinkle the yeast over the top. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, yeast mixture, and two tablespoons of melted butter. Stir until combined, then knead for around 8 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a clean, greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for an hour or until it has doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 12 equal portions. Shape each into a roll and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Cover the rolls with a towel and let them rise for another 20 minutes.
- Once risen, brush the tops with the remaining melted butter.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown. Serve warm and enjoy!
